Bolee Khela meets it's 100th anniversary
Two wrestlers are fighting for their title. Every year, the traditional Bolee Khela is held on 11th Boishakh (25th April) in Chittagong that can be traced back in 1909 (1316 Bangla Year) when Abdul Jobbar Shawdagor arranged this event to unify all famous Bolee (Wrestler) of this southern region of East Bengal (Now Bangladesh). Since then, every year Chittagong is experiencing this very popular sporting event. Boishakhi Mela or Summer Festival is also arranged in Historical Laldighi’r Par to celebrate this event. This year, Bolee Khela is having it’s 100th anniversary. Contestants from many places of Bangladesh come to this event to prove their supremacy in sandy arena of Bolee Khela. Chittagong, Bangladesh.
